Our RiCircle© flatbread is based on the ancient South Indian bread called Appam. It has a mix of white/brown rice & coconut. White rice has its own special benefits on the body as does brown whole grain rice and hence we mix the two. The rice is soaked for 24 hours which germinates the brown rice. This has significant health benefits. During this period it also undergoes a total of 5 rinses to remove any impurities. It is then fermented and individually baked on a flat skillet. Each portion is filling and soft with a moist texture, similar to a crumpet. The bread is very easy to digest and so versatile. Its good with soups, curries, spreads and stews. They can also be oven dried to make gluten free crumbs.
They are supplied frozen, ready to eat in 1 1/2 minutes.
